Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

CNC Programmer/Operator

to handle CAD modeling, CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and quality inspection. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure high-quality manufacturing output.

Responsibilities

Design & Programming

Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software. Translate designs into machine-readable instructions (G-code) using CAM software and select appropriate tooling. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles during programming.

Machine Setup & Operation

Install fixtures, tooling, and accessories on CNC machines (lathes and mills). Operate and monitor CNC machines for drilling, turning, milling, and cutting tasks. Adjust machine settings, feed rates, and perform tool changes/offsets as required.

Quality Control & Maintenance

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to meet specifications. Carry out routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC equipment. Maintain accurate production records, including approved and defective units.

Collaboration & Optimization

Work with engineering and production teams to refine designs and improve efficiency. Implement process improvements to increase productivity and align with quality standards.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks). Expertise in G-code programming and CNC machine operation (including multi-axis). Knowledge of materials, cutting technologies, and tooling selection. Skilled in precision measurement and quality inspection.
