Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service flow.
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standard recipes.
Maintain food presentation, quality, and portion standards.
Manage food storage, inventory, and stock rotation.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene comply with food safety standards.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff on preparation and safety procedures.
Coordinate with front-of-house and management team for smooth service.
Monitor food costs and minimize waste through proper planning.
Participate in menu planning, new recipe testing, and seasonal specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
Chef / Cook / Kitchen Crew
, preferably in a cafe or casual dining setting.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and commitment to delivering consistent quality.
Valid
Food Handling & Typhoid Certificate
(or willingness to obtain).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
