Purpose Statement
Part of core team to respond to equipment, yield and process related issues, implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat instances.
Purpose Statement
Calibrates test and measurement equipment (T&ME) in compliance with calibration procedures, requirement documents, and standard operating procedures. Assists in setting up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Independently maintains a daily schedule of work to be performed with minimal supervision.
- Communicates calibration status with owning departments.
- Completes calibration of T&ME.
- Record and verify calibration data, comparing to known standards and criteria.
- Coordinates calibration of equipment with outside service vendors.
- Identifies and corrects errors in procedures for calibration of T&ME.
- Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements.
- Maintain calibration standards.
- Ensures the calibration laboratory is maintained.
- Interfaces with the customer to determine support requirements.
- Provides consultation and guidance regarding calibration processes, measurement equipment expertise, and measurement process troubleshooting.
- Assists in implementing technical improvements under the teams C.I program.
- Evaluate new calibration methods and procedures.
