Description and Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Techno-Functional IT Application Engineer
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
• Addressing queries and issues pertaining to our software, tools & applications
• Keeping up to date with Software industry trends and developments.
• Develop a knowledge base of best practices and processes
• Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
• Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
• Responsible for effective and consistent communication and supporting IT Team needs
• Ensuring that requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor Track and Report incident received on a daily basis through Productivity tool
• Good knowledge of Project Management methodology for medium & small size Projects
• Preferably both English & Chinese Communication skills (verbal & written)

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of deploying large and small applications across devices and platforms
• Knowledge of how different applications work and how to modify them to suit various platforms and requirements
• Strong skills associated with the design, development, and deployment of software, including OOPS concepts
• Identify and fix bugs in existing software applications and prevent them from occurring

Technology Skills

• Good understanding/knowledge on Java, JSP, Servlet, jQuery, Angular & .NET technologies
• Experience with common web application frameworks, including Asp.net, MYSQL, NoSQL with Agile Software Development methodologies
• Understading of Full Stack development with Java, Spring Boot and micro-services
• Developing Splunk Dashboards, Report, Alerts, Visualizations and Optimize searches
• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI Technical knowledge on data modelling techniques
• Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning algorithms and the use of popular AI/ML frameworks
• Basic Windows/Linux based Server management including Configure & monitoring knowledge
• Skilled in MS productivity tools viz MS Excel, MS Word, PPT etc
