Responsible for promoting and selling multiple products manufactured/carried by Engtex Group of Companies to Sabah and Sarawak markets under two main areas of business: 1. Pipes, valves & fittings for water, sewerage, fire-fighting M&E project supplies. 2. Metal and Steel Products for dealers/stockists projects, manufacturers/industrial and end-users . KEY DUTIES To promote, sell and cross-sell products manufactured/carried by Engtex Group of Companies to contractors/developers/consultants/authorities/dealers or stockists. Seek new all customers, secure indent orders and follow-up on deliver status Ensure that there is an adequate follow up of all relevant enquiries, RFQ and BQ quotations Ensure that products conform to customer requirements and meets customer needs Identify potential new business to increase the product range and customer base Provide product and technical support with the help of our manufacturing team to customers as required. The Indent Sales Executive reports primarily to the group executive director and has functional responsibilities to regional/manufacturing heads for the indented products carried. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated sales experience, managing and executing product sales. Experience in dealing with contractors/developers/authorities/consultants/dealers or stockists. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Some working knowledge of the (1) pipes, valves & fittings for water, sewerage, M&E, HVAC firefighting, or (2) Metal and steel products - Steel pipes, plates, beams, sheets, bars, hollow sections, PC wire & strands, wire mesh, etc. Can be based in Sg. Buloh Selangor HQ or Sabah or Sarawak but must be willing to travel Sabah and/or Sarawak major towns at least three out of four weeks in a month. Good communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers, staff and management Kindly indicate the position level you are applying for and your preferred areas of business (PVF or ISP).
