Job Summary

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, and assembling wooden structures, fixtures, furniture, and other related components used in production or project installations. This role ensures all work is completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design plans. Measure, cut, and assemble wood or other materials using hand tools and power tools. Install wooden structures, panels, doors, and fittings at project sites or within the factory. Repair or modify existing fixtures, displays, or furniture as required. Ensure all carpentry work meets company quality, precision, and safety standards. Coordinate with production, engineering, or project teams to support build-out or installation schedules. Maintain a clean and safe working area, and perform basic maintenance on carpentry tools. Monitor material usage and report shortages or damages to the supervisor. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

Minimum

SPM / Certificate in Carpentry / Furniture Making / Technical Field

or equivalent. At least

1-2 years

of relevant working experience in carpentry, woodwork, or fixture assembly. Skilled in operating carpentry tools and equipment safely. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks. Team player with good time management and attention to detail.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
