LOCATION : KOTA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA (SELANGOR)
SALARY MIN RM2,000.00 MAX RM 2,200.00

WORK HOURS : SHIFT BASEDWORKING DAYS : 6 DAYS/WEEK (1 OFF DAY)START DATE : OCTOBER 2024As a Cashier cum Barista with us, you will be responsible for managing transactions at the register, assisting customers with queries, and handling coffee and specialty drinks preparation. This role also involves general assistance with store duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and helping with stock management. The candidate should have prior experience in similar roles.The position is shift-based, requiring flexibility with hours, including weekends and holidays.Key Responsibilities1. Cashier Duties:
- Operate the cash register, process payments accurately (cash, credit, debit), and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
- Handle customer purchases efficiently and ensure all pricing are accurate.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.2. Customer Service:
- Attend to customer queries regarding products, pricing, and store layout.
- Provide friendly, efficient service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.3. Coffee and Specialty Drink Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation of coffee and specialty drinks as per store menu and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee area and equipment and maintain proper hygiene at all times.
- Ensure high-quality beverage standards and timely service to customers.4. General Store Assistance:
- Assist in restocking shelves when needed, ensuring product availability on the sales floor.
- Help in maintaining store cleanliness, including the cashier station and customer areas.
- Collaborate with other store personnel to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods.
- Provide support during deliveries and stock replenishment.Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum 6 months\' experience working as a cashier, barista or similar roles. Direct experience of coffee and specialty drinks preparation is an added advantage but not essential.- Comfortable working in a front-of-house role, with strong customer service skills and an ability to engage and assist customers effectively.- Able to handle cash, cards and POS systems accurately and efficiently.- Strong communication skills, and comfortable interacting in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.- Basic understanding of store operations is an added advantage- A team player that is able to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.- Flexible with work schedules and willing to work shift-based hours, including weekends and public holidaysCompensation:Basic Salary RM 2,200.00 to RM 2,500.00 (based on experience)EPF/SOCSO/EIS providedMedical CoverageTo apply, submit your CV below or via email at russell@24twelve.online.
