Job Description

Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, managing the point-of-sale (POS) system and ensuring a smooth payment experience.



Key task:



1. Process cash, card, e-wallet and voucher payments accurately.

2. Greet guests, answer menu-related questions and provide receipts.

4. Use digital POS systems for order entry, billing and reporting.

5. Communicate with kitchen/service crew to ensure order accuracy.

6. Balance cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.

7. Maintain a tidy cashier station in line with hygiene standards.

8. Assist with packaging, takeaway orders and queue management during peak hours

Working experience:



1-2 years in F&B, retail or cashiering roles.

0-1 year experience acceptable. Training often provided.

Skills required:



1. Friendly, patient and culturally respectful.

2. Confident handling cash and calculating change.

3. Familiar with POS ordering and payment systems.

4. Clear and polite interaction with guests and team

5. Able to manage queues, orders, and payments simultaneously.

6. Trustworthy with handling money and sensitive customer data.
