Job Description

The Cashroom Assistant is responsible for accurately handling, counting, recording, and safeguarding cash and other monetary transactions for the company. This role ensures all financial procedures comply with company policies, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy.

s:

Receive, verify, and record daily cash collections from various outlets/departments. Count, reconcile, and prepare deposits for bank lodgment. Assist in monitoring and balancing daily cash transactions. Ensure accurate recording of petty cash disbursements and reimbursements. Maintain proper filing and documentation of cash-related records. Safeguard cash, vouchers, and related documents in line with security policies. Assist in preparing daily/weekly/monthly cashroom reports. Support in investigating discrepancies and report immediately to the Cashroom Supervisor. Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and company procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Able to work on retail/shift hours, weekends & public holidays. Must be disciplined and committed. Prior experience in cash handling, cashiering, or accounting support is an advantage. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, accounting software experience is a plus).

Pay: From RM1,750.00 per month
