JOB TITLE : CASTING TECHNICIAN ( JOHOR BAHRU )JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety work area and always use PPE (ear plug, google, safety boot)
• Keep machine and electrical tools and work area clean, safe and well maintained at all time and
• reports any defects
• To carry out other job assigned by superior
• Need to learn and know about die casting machine
• Need to learn how to operate the die-casting machine
• Need to learn and know about casting defect and troubleshooting
• To carry out maintenance inspection checklist (every shift) for die casting machine, furnace,
• trimming, oil heater and die lube
• Any adjustment of parameter setting machine must get permission from superior
• Any machine problem or casting defects found immediately inform supervisor
• Work as a team and communicate with each other
• In-charge on the furnace maintenance
• To learn and manage on mould setup/repair
• Able to lead the operators to carry out job assigned
• Monitor and do reporting on operators attendance
• Mantain accuracy and quality in accordance with control procedures
• Train new operator
• Responsible on daily output report
• Ensure safe operating practice and good housekeeping is maintained at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related filed is required for this position.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
• The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions
• Maintain test equipment.
• Troubleshooting and communication skills
• Good emergency response
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment, and machines
• High attention to details and accuracy
• Possess good communication skills
• Is self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented
• Prioritize and manage time effectively
