Client: Presto Trade Sdn Bhd. Client operates in the retail sector, specializing in office supplies and gifts, and is currently in the process of expanding its market presence into new mart verticals. What You\'d Do: Ensure availability and profitability of product assortment through liaising with business partners/suppliers. Source, develop and manage a category of products and merchandise that are attractive to our customers and meeting our customer needs. Negotiate product cost and rebates to continually achieve lower costs for our customers. Develop best pricing strategy and maximize profits while considering consumer and market demand. Plan promotions with external and internal stakeholders that are attractive and add value to our customers. Keep abreast of the current market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify market opportunities. Continuous improvement of the product offers through effective review and analysis. Assist the team to achieve category and SKU target. Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future. Strong negotiation skills and experience of negotiating income and promotional support from suppliers. Understanding of Profit and Loss management. What You\'d Need: Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Retail Management or equivalent. Experience in related department or industry has added advantage. A minimum of 3-4 years of Procurement / Purchasing experience with an impressive track record of accomplishments and continuous improvements. Required Skill(s): Negotiation skills, communication skills, time management, judgment and decision making skills. Candidate must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor.
