Leads all Category Management initiatives, applying category and shopper insights to propose in-store CatMan initiatives (planogramming, secondary display placements and permanent visibility touchpoints).
Lead all category management pitching with key retailers, proposal in compass shopper planning and category trends understanding.
Work jointly with channel managers to assess category/channel opportunities and analyse competitor & channel behaviour.
Lead research workshops on shoppers\' habit and channel landscapes to provide insights for various channel implementations to influence share of market, share of space and promotional tweaks to maximize volume growth potentials.
Accountabilities
Build collaborative partnerships with key retail partnerships to win category captaincy
Lead category management projects which include category/shopper data analyses, vendor management and liaising with retailer buyers to ensure successful executions at store level
Identify category improvement areas via performance reviews and post-evaluations with the key account team/retailer periodically (quarterly/half yearly)
Support commercial teams by sending out monthly category one pagers and category insights based on Nielsens/Dunhumby
Organize and lead quarterly category management refreshers for HQ and Region sales teams
Review PICOS guidelines especially on planograms by channel on a quarterly basis, based on Nielsen\'s data and additional shopper insights.
