Department Overview

The Product Procurement Team works with the Business, Engineering and other critical functional teams to create and execute the product outsourcing strategy. The team source and manages a pool of qualified suppliers to support our business\' outsourcing needs.

Scopes of Responsibilities / Expectations:

• Developing and implementing category strategies
• Manage the supplier relationship, contracts, performance, and risk management
• Planning and executing effective negotiation process with suppliers
• Lead RFQ and Sourcing board / supplier selection activities for new products
• Review and track Product pricing for new products and production kits
• Driving cost reduction & vertical integration activities in concert with the Suppliers, Supply Chain, and Engineering
• Responsible for creating, negotiating, completing, and governing all contracts
• Liaising with the Supplier and various internal functional teams on the day to day operations (pricing, contractual, liability exposure, and/or delivery issues)
• Reviewing and analyzing procurement reports

Basic Requirements

Requirements:

• Candidate must have minimum a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
• Strong contract negotiation skills and understanding of key commercial terms and conditions
• Good understanding of total product cost models and structures
• Proficiency in working with Google & Microsoft Platforms (Gmail, Google Siles, Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communication and people skills to work with various levels of management and functions
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Energetic, Positive, and a Team Player
• Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
