Senior Channel Sales Representative - Personal Protective Equipment

We are currently seeking a Channel Sales Manager to join our Safety Productivity Solutions team in our Kuala Lumpur office. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your focus will be to Implement and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing Channel Sales projects and activities to achieve sales profits and business objectives. Serve as a liaison between channel sales leadership, marketing teams, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing Channel Sales projects and activities to achieve sales profits and business objectives. Serve as a liaison between channel sales leadership, marketing teams, and distributors.
  • Continuously review status of projects and budgets; assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring Channel Sales progress and to problem-solve with internal stakeholders and customers. Channel Managers work closely with
  • Honeywell field sales representatives and leaders to promote sales activities that are focused on acquiring new end-user customers for Honeywell.
  • Help Honeywell be the customer\'s top choice by improving on channel sales solutions and driving mutual revenue
  • Empower Company\'s ability to timely respond to customer demands by coordinating efforts of different teams
  • Work closely with channel partners to help drive new account acquisition and increase their spend with Honeywell
  • Develop and execute strategy for Channel Partners
  • Coordinate field sales personnel on customer visits with partner or distributor sales team
  • Align the RSM team in the execution of the channel partner strategy
  • Forecasting and reporting as required by senior leadership
  • Participate in local and regional trade shows
Key Experience & Capabilities:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in related field or equivalent experience
  • Graduation in Marketing, Science, or Business Administration
  • Preferably have multinational experience: ability to effectively manage in matrix organization and across the functions and countries
  • Demonstrated success in integrated sales and marketing plan development (linking products, channels/customers and revenue goals)
  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end execution of sales and marketing strategies
  • Experience or exposure on sales and marketing automation process and tools
  • Good marketing analytical skills, be able to implement data-driven marketing processes and programs to maximize the ROI
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skillset
  • Self-starter, structured thinker, ability to work collaboratively across functions/regions, influence others
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure with stretched goals and deadlines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with demonstrable sales and marketing knowledge
  • Business development and channel management skills
  • Candidate with prior experience in industrial safety segments/products/verticals/channels including but not limited to O&G, Metals & Mining, Manufacturing, Auto, Pharma, Construction, T&L etc.
  • Good customer knowledge in the designated market area
  • Providing correct quotations for the real needs of the customer in a timely manner
  • Handling appropriate phone and email enquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide a professional sales process at all times
  • Understand customer needs with the right level of product knowledge for each enquiry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sales achievement and results
  • Ability to leverage internal and external resources to meet sales goals
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Competitive, strategic, and global mindset
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders
  • Work well as part of the whole sales team providing support and assistance as appropriate
  • Liaise with customer service, product and factory personnel as necessary with regard to deliveries and technical information.
  • Knowledge of customers business, organizational drivers and end customers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Honeywell field sales to empower organic growth within assigned channel partners
  • Ability to leverage internal and external resources to meet sales goal
