Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting equipment. Assisting with 3 phase motor installations / wiring. Following preventative maintenance program for equipment & facility. Responsible to assist engineer in the maintenance activity and maintain at all times the substation, electrical & instrument installation such as electrical motors, switchboards, control system, process control devices etc and diagnostic equipment, to ensure maximum in-house maintenance and repair capability to minimize equipment downtime. Perform machine troubleshooting and rectification. Responsible for carry out the maintenance of all electrical/instrument equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Performing other duties or projects as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least certificate in Engineering / Electrical or A1/A0 chargeman certification from Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga). 1-2 year(s) of working experience from manufacturing in machine control system maintenance and troubleshooting. Exposed in electrical system & able to read electrical circuit diagram and equipment fault for troubleshooting. Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. With knowledge in PLC, single and three phase wiring. Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment. Experience in low voltage synchronizing of generators.
