Job Description
Operate, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment at TOC locations in compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensure all electrical installations are maintained in safe working condition and meet the Electricity Supply Act and Energy Commission standards.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for switchboards, generators, and associated equipment.
Supervise electrical shutdown, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
Monitor and record maintenance activities, electrical readings, and system performance.
Lead and guide technicians in carrying out electrical works safely and effectively.
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, system abnormalities, or equipment failures promptly.
Liaise with TNB, clients, and relevant authorities regarding electrical supply and system operations.
Enforce safe work practices including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work, and PPE compliance.
Support energy management, equipment optimization, and safety improvement initiatives.
Ensure all electrical work complies with ISO, OSHA, and Energy Commission requirements.
