Job Requirement

Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga. 1-3 years experience handling LV electrical systems in industrial or building facilities. Knowledge of LV switchboard operation, Electrical protection devices (MCB, MCCB, ELCB, RCCB), Motor control circuits, Earthing systems, UPS, genset LV distribution. Able to read single-line diagrams and perform LV testing (IR test, continuity test, loop impedance, etc.). Good problem-solving and reporting skills. Able to support on-call or emergency response duty. Other basic knowledge requirement. - HVAC system inspection and filter replacement, Plumbing system checks (leak detection and repairs), Fire safety system inspection.

Job Responsibility

Operate, monitor, and maintain LV switchboards, distribution boards, and MCC panels. Inspect, service, and troubleshoot LV electrical equipment such as: Power distribution systems, LV transformers & panels, motors & pumps, lighting systems, UPS, battery systems, and generators (LV side). Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective action for LV systems. Perform testing and verification on wiring, earthing, and protection devices. Ensure compliance with Electricity Supply Act, ST Rules, and workplace electrical safety procedures. Implement LOTO and permit-to-work (PTW) for LV work. Carry out scheduled maintenance for LV equipment and electrical installations. Maintain proper records, logbooks, and checklists. Oversee electrical contractors performing LV work. Ensure installation quality, safety, and compliance. Respond to LV electrical failures, trips, and faults. Support restoration of power and ensure minimal downtime.
