Incumbents carry out assignments within well-defined practices, procedures and policies. Works independently on details of assignments, and has limited decision-making authority; most decisions are made or guided by the immediate supervisor. Decisions/actions may have an impact on the department\'s/divisions goals. Works under close Supervision and requires direction on how assignments are to be executed; begins to put forward ideas on how work assignments are completed. Establishes cooperative relationships to work effectively with colleagues; supports others and participates as a team member, and takes responsibility for own work commitments. Interacts directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers and team members; engages in routine exchanges of information; interactions with external contacts, if applicable, would be monitored. Detailed Description Plan, organize and implement a comprehensive program (including both corrective and preventive activities) to ensure smooth operation all mechanical and electrical installation. Ensuring day to day Facility operation running smoothly Prepare maintenance Schedule for electrical system and ensure maintenance carried out as per plan Preparing project plans, which include allocating resources, delegating tasks and system buy off. Obtaining permits and license applications as required by local Authorities. Working with other engineers, production\'s team, and other professionals to ensure system operated smoothly. Identifying and addressing problems. Making improvements to existing system, Implementing solutions and system designs. Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to electrical related systems Plan, design and lead electrical engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement Perform capacity tracking and planning for electrical systems Enforce to company\'s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping Adhering to standard and quality policy when performing work Maintain maintenance record for system fault history traceability. Preparing project plans, which include allocating resources, delegating tasks and system buy off. Managing the plant operations, maintenance, manpower management and project coordination. Plan and schedule the duty roaster and work orders for respective subordinates. Ensure the plant and machinery spare parts availability in the store is sufficient. Uphold the 5S practices in the Utility area and ensure the sub ordinates PPE is in good working condition. Lead the team and plan for annual maintenance execution work and complete on-time To perform inspection, repair, maintenance & upgrading on equipment related. Able to supervise a team of Chargeman/Wireman/Handyman on daily job function. Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdown, trouble shooting and provide regular monthly or yearly maintenance. To carry out daily check, inspection and monitoring for HT and LV switchboards, bus-ducts, transformers, switchgears and NUR supply. Carry out schedule inspections and testing of standby Generator, Fire Pumps and etc. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Knowledge and familiar in Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations is a must. Liaise with relevant Authorities and vendors to ensure compliance of the applicable laws, including OSHA / EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Bomba and other regulatory governing bodies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to distil complex information and provide clear instructions. Strong problem-solving, analytical and scientific skills. Proficiency in CAD and other software programs. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate or work alone. Knowledge of project management / new building set up recommended. Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met. Physical Demands Supervise external contractor\'s works / service and monitor their performance. Carry out in-house electrical works including maintenance, inspection and testing as assigned by the management. Ensure that all electrical services are serviceable at all times. Develop short- and long-term building maintenance plan. Attend to all complaints on Electrical/Mechanical issues. Typical Experience Two to five years of relevant experience. BO - 33kv/11kv Chargeman Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga is a must. Typical Education Candidate must possess at least SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
