About the role

Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced A2 Chargeman cum Facility Officer to join our team in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and facility maintenance operations at our manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

Perform all electrical duties and documentation in compliance with the

Electricity Supply Act and Regulations

under

Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

. Ensure all electrical instruments and systems comply with

safety regulations and statutory requirements

.

Lead and supervise the facility team

in day-to-day operations and maintenance activities. Plan, schedule, and monitor the

preventive maintenance

for building and facilities. Develop and implement

electricity cost-saving programs

, and provide proposals to management for overall building and facility cost efficiency. Manage and control

inventory and stock

of facility-related items and spare parts. Collaborate with the

mechanical maintenance team

to troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns effectively. Respond promptly to

ad hoc maintenance tasks

assigned by management. Promote and maintain

5S practices

and continuous improvement within the maintenance area.

What we're looking for

A valid minimum A2 Chargeman certificate and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, building automation, and facility management Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to coordinate maintenance activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
