Job Description

:Job Responsibilties:

• Records, monitors and distributes service work (SW) and service request (SR) to subordinates and contract staff (contract vendors) under its control as stated in SOP MCS (management controls system).
• Records and ensure EOD for all electrical plant (HT/LV) related to electrical main switch board (MSB) in the Plan Room is taken by the staff on duty and updated into the ASIS as per daily log sheet.
• Carry out repair work according to Schedule / Unscheduled Maintenance, especially on assets or facility systems that require expertise and carry out "Testing & Commissioning" and update status Asset Register Form.
• Inspect, monitor, read and record the power consumption power consumption of each HT intake, MSB and SMSB and inform Head of Unit (Electrical Engineer) / head of FEMS if there is an oddity in the system
• Operate or commence operations such as M & E plant chiller, generator sets and pump motor
• Request order of goods in accordance with SW / SR requirements, monitor progress of works done by the vendors and verify invoices for the payment process for the work done by vendors.
• Assist and provide technical feedback to Electrical Engineer / FHE / FM for maintenance work requiring vendor expertise and monitoring the work done and create good relationship with TNB.
• Ensure that the electrical plant / switch room / maintenance equipment is in good condition and safe according to the work safety act.

Job Requirements:

• High School Certificate specialised in Electrical installation
• At least 4 - 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• At least certificate Chargeman grade BO
• Independent and adept at working in groups, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
