Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible of all electrical installation such as HT/LV sub-station, switchgear, electrical distribution system, electrical protection system/devices and any related power motor for others electrical system.
• Performs the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Proactive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Corrective and Breakdown Maintenance on all electrical distribution system, electrical protection system/devices and any related power motor for others electrical system.
• Lead a group of technical staffs (electrical & mechanical) on the daily operation of hospital/facility and ensuring all the Engineering Plant Operation Data are taken and registered it into CMS (Computer Management System) such as ASIS and other similar system available for the contract hospital/facility.
• Responsible for any electrical shutdown program/servicing by initiating and signing of Permit to Works OR any similar document for getting approval from the hospital/facility's management.
• Inspect, monitor, read and record power consumption of each HT intake, Main Switch Board (MSB) and Sub-Main Switch Board (SMSB), log sheet requirement and inform superior if there is an abnormal condition in the system.
• Records, monitors and distributes Service Work (SW) and Service Request (SR) to subordinates and contract staff (contract vendors) under its control as stated in Management Controls System (MCS) SOP.
• Operate or commence operations of electrical equipment and system such as Mechanical & Electrical Plant, chiller, generator sets and motor pumps.
• Request order of goods in accordance with Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor progress of works done by the vendors and verify invoices for the payment process for the work done by vendors.
• Assist and provide technical feedback to superior and operation management for maintenance work requiring vendor expertise and monitoring the work done and create good relationship with utilities provider e.g. TNB
• Ensure that the electrical plant / switch room / maintenance equipment is in safe and good condition according to the work safety act.
• Ensure all activities comply with Quality, Safety, Health and environment activities (Quality Assurance Program, Risk Management, Hazard Alert and Recall, Handling Hazardous Equipment) as per contract agreement. Support company programmes and activities such as related to HSSE and LEAN e.g. tool box session at agreed frequency set by management
• Support stakeholder management (external - Contractor Performance Assessment and Customer Satisfaction Survey, internal - headquarters, vendor etc.) effectively by providing excellent services to maintain good relationship and achieve high customer satisfaction level as per Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by Company and Ministry of Health.
• Company shall register the appointed HT Chargeman with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) according to the Electrical Installation's Law.
• Lead the Testing and Commissioning (T&C) on the electrical system/component in relation to the retrofit/upgrading project at the contract hospital/facility. Ensuring, the registration of asset/system is done upon completion of T&C.
• Responsible to provide the Technical Data/Input on the electrical and its associates system to Engineer/Superior for the completion of Technical Report/Condition Appraisal/Life Cycle Assessment/Project Proposal.
• Responsible to lead and perform the Cost Saving Activities at the hospital/facility level.

Job Requirements:

• High School Certificate
• At least 4 - 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Minimum BO Chargeman Certificate
