Job Description

Job Responsibilites:

Operate and maintain high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, MCC panels, distribution boards). Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems. Perform electrical troubleshooting and rectification to minimize downtime. Ensure full compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and ST licensing requirements. Conduct lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety checks before maintenance. Maintain statutory inspection records, logbooks, and certification for electrical systems. Monitor power consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives. Assist in plant shutdown/start-up and ensure electrical readiness.

Job Requirements:

Valid Chargeman Certificate of Competency (BO High Voltage and AO). Minimum SPM; Diploma in Electrical/Engineering is an advantage. 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in palm oil, refinery, biodiesel, or chemical industry. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
