Job Description

Main Purpose:
Ensure operations of all electrical power supply and instrument system in good condition

Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB and other regulatory bodies on utilities services and compliance issues

Maintain, install and troubleshoot of electrical systems, electrical panel, starter panel and equipment and minimize equipment breakdown and power failure
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:Carry out preventive maintenance & inspection tasks on all switch boards, circuit breakers, transformer and any other electrical equipment or instruments as per procedures Maintain the electrical standby generator system Handle and assist Electrical consultant inspection & update status on electric supply condition Supervise any electrical M&R works by contractor & ensure safe electrical procedures been complied Plan and carry out daily electrician work or improvement for plant operations & reliability Inspect all electrical power tools and equipment to be used by contractor in plant & ensure in good working condition & safe to use In charge of Terminal Asset Guardian (TAG), setup, develop & maintaining of the system Source & raise Purchase Requisition as per procurement guideline for equipment spare parts, plant maintenance & etc. & keep sufficient spares for major critical equipment or instruments Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all electrical equipment. Prepare and provide daily, monthly, and annual reports on power consumption and equipment performance. Provide on-the-job training to subordinates on the basic operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Undertake other special assignments and ad-hoc duties as required by management.

Requirements:Must possess minimum valid 11kV BO Chargeman Certificate from Energy Commission. Good knowledge of Safety standards and high degree of safety awareness At least 3 years' experience in Industrial, Manufacturing environment. Experience in Oil & Gas Terminal is added advantages. Experience with all type of electrical motor is added advantages. Knowledge in instrumentation and PLC is an added advantage. Experience collaborating with other teams/departments within the organization. Possess own transportation, able to attend breakdowns during off-working and rest days / public holidays if required. Willing to work in Pelabuhan Tanjung Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang. Experience collaborating with other teams/departments within the organization. Experienced in engineering processes Able to detect abnormalities in the terminal Work independently with minimal supervision.
