1. To assist Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic (M,E&E) Engineer in implementing and executing operational and maintenance activities of M&E highway operations specifically for Street Lighting & Building Services in accordance with established procedures.
2. Continue to execute and implementing E&E systems and to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. This includes functions relating to highway M&E operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
1. To lead the in house maintenance team to perform routine maintenance and 1st level troubleshooting works for Street Lighting and Building Services M&E system.
2. To execute guidelines, procedures and technical standard in maintaining effective M,E&E Department Assets routine and corrective maintenance program.
3. To troubleshoot E&E assets system and equipment problems as reported by end users or authorities.
4. To coordinate and work together with other units/departments in ensuring minimum M&E Assets System downtime to end users.
5. To identify specific M&E assets System and equipment problem that require urgent rectification.
6. To assist E&E Engineer in conducting investigation /study on technical issues / problems faced by M,M&E department.
7. To prepare documentation, reports and material as requested by superior / managements.
8. Maintain liaison with Government Authorities i.e. Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM), Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and other related parties in order to provide effective and excellent highway services to meet needs and expectations of highway users.
9. To monitor spare parts quantity and to ensure spare parts quantities are sufficient in order to carry out any repair work.
10. To backup and assist any work related others E&E equipment such as Toll Collection System (TCS) and Traffic Control & Surveillance System (TCSS).
11. To assist, guide and mentoring other technician to perform their duties.
12. To lead on the monthly Genset Load Test exercise and UPS standalone Test.
13. To accompany Visiting/ Supervising Engineer during monthly electrical inspection.
14. To register with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) exclusively.
15. To supervise the E&E contractors in services to the company.
16. Any other duties as when assigned from time to time by the management.
17. To comply with all Prolintas's ISO Management Systems and legal requirements at all times.
