Key Responsibilities:
Monitor stock levels, place orders within budget, and minimize waste while ensuring proper inventory management and food cost control.
Assist in menu planning and development by suggesting new dishes and improvements to existing recipes.
Lead by example in the kitchen by guiding, training, and supporting junior chefs, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during service, such as ingredient shortages, equipment malfunctions, or other operational challenges.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
Ability to manage time, work under pressure, and maintain consistency in food quality.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
