:
Oversee a designated kitchen station, handling preparation, cooking, and plating to company standards.
Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and Halal standards.
Maintain consistency in food quality through regular taste tests and presentation checks.
Coordinate closely with other kitchen stations and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and control food costs through proper portioning, stock rotation (FIFO), and waste minimization.
Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff to maintain performance and standards.
Ensure the workstation and equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Manage kitchen activities during peak hours, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.
Handle special dietary requests and guest requirements promptly and professionally.
Assist in stock ordering, inventory checks, and maintaining accurate records.
Support the Head Chef in developing new recipes and improving kitchen procedures.
Foster teamwork, communication, and a positive working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
SPM, Professional Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
2-3 years similar work experience
A strong passion for food and culinary arts
Strong knowledge of food preparation and the recipes and ingredients use
Good knowledge of kitchen equipment
Able to maintain confidential information with professionalism
Good command of both verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
Has initiative, pro-active, resourceful and attention to details
Good knowledge in MS Office
Able to work on all shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
