• Culinary Education: Fresh Graduate with a degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school.
• Experience: Proven experience as a chef in a similar role, preferably with a focus on hot kitchen operations.
• Cooking Skills: Expertise in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
• Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety standards and practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English to communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Time Management: Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, multitask, and high-pressure situations.
• Working Hours: Willing to work weekends & selected Public Holidays
• Culinary Education: Degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef in a commercial kitchen or bakery.
• Baking Skills: Proficiency in baking techniques, including bread making, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Creativity: Ability to design and create new recipes and presentations for bakery items.
• Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices specific to baking.
• Precision: Attention to detail in measuring ingredients, following recipes, and decorating finished products.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of baking, including lifting heavy bags of flour and standing for extended periods.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple baking projects simultaneously.
• Time Management: Efficient time management to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.

Chef (Bakery) - NON-HALAL

• Education: Recently graduated with a degree or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts or a related field.
• Experience: Work experience as a baker or pastry chef in a commercial kitchen or bakery.
• Baking Skills: Proficient in baking techniques, including bread making, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
• Creativity: Ability to design and create new recipes and display bakery items
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English to communicate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices specific to baking.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring ingredients, following recipes, and decorating finished products
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of baking, including lifting heavy bags of flour and standing for long periods
• Organizational Skills: Well-organized and able to manage multiple baking projects simultaneously

ResponsibilitiesChef (Hot Kitchen) Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hot kitchen, including coordinating staff activities and managing inventory.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes before they are served to customers.
• Sanitation and Safety: Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs by minimizing waste.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and address any issues promptly.

Chef (Bakery) - NON-HALAL

• Baking and Pastry Production: Prepare and bake various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
• Recipe Development: Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to maintain a diverse and appealing product line
• Decoration: Decorate pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to meet display standards
• Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, ordering as needed
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked products
• Scheduling: Plan and coordinate baking schedules to ensure a steady supply of fresh products
