Job Description

Responsibilities

1) To lead a team of production operators in surface treatment process, e.g Aluminium Anodising, Zinc Phosphate conversion coating, manganese phosphate conversion coating, Zinc die cast passivation, heat treatment descaling/ carbon removal.

2)Setting process parameters.

3)Coordinating with operators and technicians.

4)Monitoring daily production.

5) Solving issues like uneven coating, corrosion, colour variations, poor quality output.

6)Adjusting chemical formulation and parameters.

7)Making sure production is stable and repeatable.

8)Training operators on proper cleaning, rinsing and process sequence.

9)Creating control plans and check lists.

10)Writing SOPs for each finishing process.

11)Daily/weekly reporting of bath health, reject rate and chemical usage.

12)Preparing documentation for audit.

13) Maintain section chemical storage and ensure replenishment of stocks.

14) To use chemical process instruments i.e Isoscope ( thickness tester), pH meter, conductivity meter.

15) Working with maintenance, quality, production and suppliers.

16)Ensuring equipment works safely and efficiently.

17)Understanding customer specifications ( automotive,electronics, HDD, aerospace ) 18)Participating in failure analysis.

19) R&D for process improvements to meet high spec coating requirements on Aluminium, Steel components .

20) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent. Knowledge of Anodizing process will be an added advantage At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Required skill(s): Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWam) Computer literate, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word Able to work independently Good understanding of the requirements of Environmental Quality Act and ISO requirements Preferably specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
