Job Requirement:

Qualification and Experience

Minimum of a Degree in Chemistry or related subject. Preferably at least 1 year working experience in laboratory. Fresh graduates are encouraging to apply.
Technical Knowledge & skills

Has good understanding of EHS and good laboratory practice. Has knowledge and understanding of international and other standard test methods. Possess necessary computer literacy, includes word, excel and power point. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good written and spoken English skills Good discipline and attitude. Good planning and organizational skills A team-player with ability to work with all levels of management Innovative and a team player who is high responsive and results-driven.

Job Responsibility:

Perform general chemical analysis & material characterization, physical properties testing or chromatography & thermal analysis, maintain testing records and produce accurate test results. Assist superior in implementing and maintaining the ISO 17025 laboratory quality management system, good laboratory practices, health and environment requirements of the company. Develop and validate test method for general chemical analysis & material characterization, physical properties testing or chromatography & thermal analysis, with the assistance of superior. Verify and maintain the laboratory equipment as per schedule, without delay. Validate laboratory equipment to ensure they are fit for the intended use and meet the requirement of the laboratory. Coordinate with external calibration laboratory and ensure the laboratory equipment are calibrated as per schedule. Maintain and procure laboratory chemicals and supplies as required. Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the laboratory at all times. Knowledge transfer by providing technical training on test method, equipment verification procedure and equipment operating procedure to other colleagues as when required. Provide advice and make recommendations based on sound judgment and facts to in-house customers such as R&D, manufacturing, marketing, regulatory affairs and other related functions on matters relating to testing with the assistance of superior. Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by superior.
