(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Looking for a Chief Accountant for a 5* luxury hotel.

About the Role:
Assist the Head of Finance in the administration of financial aspects of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s operations, to ensure that all local and company policies & procedures are observed and to supervise the day to day operations of the accounting office.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the Head of Finance in compiling timely and accurate financial management reports, as required by the office and the owners. Also must assume responsibility for the management of the Accounting as designated in the department reporting flow chart.
• Assist the Head of Finance in order to ensure that proper internal controls are in place. Also, the Chief Accountant must play a role in the development of the Accounting team members including hiring, training, cross-training, and development in order to meet the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s and the Company\xe2\x80\x99s human resources needs.
• Good understanding of Month-End Process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Performs all daily, monthly, and other periodic accounting and financial reporting in an accurate and timely nature.

• Experience as in a Chief Accountant / Accounts Manager with 5-Star International Hotel Background

• Basic Salary: MYR 7,000 - 8,200 Monthly (Negotiable based on experiences)
