Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or PA preferred.
Proven experience as a CFO. From travel industry will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory frameworks, and accounting standards.
Demonstrated track record of driving financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and capitalize on opportunities.
Commitment to integrity, ethics, and transparency in financial management and decision-making.
Proficient in both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia & English languages. Those who are able to converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
Candidate must be willing to be based in Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur area.
Responsibilities
Lead and drive Initial Public Offering (IPO), ensure full compliance of Bursa, Securities Commission requirements including other regulatory requirements to facilitate the listing exercise (Target submission date : First half of 2025, after closing of FYE 2024 accounts).
Drive and conduct corporate strategic planning (3 years strategic plan).
Set up the Group\'s Financial Policies & Procedures and internal controls, Risk Management Framework and ensure compliance.
Ensure compliance of corporate governance requirements set by the authority body from time to time.
Lead and oversee the Group\'s finance, treasury, accounting functions and internal control systems.
Prepare all internal and external reporting, budgeting, Profit and Cashflow Projections and review all reporting prepared by Other Departments.
Prepare monthly management report and consolidation of group financial statements or oversee the works prepared by the Financial Controller.
Provide strategic and proactive financial expertise and advices to the management and HODs for both short term and long term financial planning.
Advise management on the financial implications of business and project venture.
Improvement of the Group\'s business processes and systems, including digitalization of business and accounting processes for better efficiency and security, as and when needed.
Lead and drive Sustainability and E.S.G. initiatives.
Set up and maintain corporate website that comply with Bursa Listing Requirements.
Tax planning and tax incentive application.
Corporate and capital restructuring as and when needed.
Review of the group\'s legal documents and agreements.
Verify/approve financial transactions and investment as per the financial authority limit set.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, investment bank and other entities on accounting, treasury and financial matters.
Post listing - Handling of financial reporting, annual reports write up, Bursa announcements and compliances.
Investors relation (press, fund managers and analysts).
Any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director from time to time as deemed necessary.
