Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Fundraising & Expansion

Salary:

RM 20,000 - RM 30,000

The CFO leads the financial strategy, fundraising initiatives, and investment planning for the Group's expanding portfolio in Singapore and Malaysia, with more planned. The CFO is responsible for securing capital to support expansion, setting the financial governance foundation, and driving long-term profitability.

This role acts as a strategic partner to the CEO, managing investor relations, evaluating investment opportunities, and ensuring strong financial health as the business scales regionally.

Fundraising Leadership

Lead full fundraising cycle: equity, debt, convertible structures, private investors, family offices, banks. Develop capital strategy aligned with expansion (new outlets, new countries, new concepts). Build and maintain an investor pipeline and strategic partner network. Oversee preparation of pitch decks, valuation models, group performance narratives. Lead negotiations and deal structuring for favourable financing terms. Manage ongoing investor relations: quarterly updates, performance dashboards, governance compliance.

Expansion & Investment Strategy

Evaluate feasibility of new outlets, market entry, and potential acquisitions. Build financial models for ROI, payback periods, breakeven analysis. Advise CEO on capital allocation priorities and long-term growth roadmap. Assess partnership or franchising opportunities for international scaling.

Corporate Finance & Governance

Oversee group-level financial risk, capital efficiency, and treasury strategy. Implement group governance, internal controls, and reporting frameworks. Ensure the Group meets investor expectations for transparency and compliance.

Financial Performance & Business Profitability

Drive group profitability by optimising margin, labour costs, rental costs, and operational efficiency. Partner with Operations Directors to enhance outlet unit economics. Oversee pricing strategy for services, products, and menu items across salons/spas/F&B.

Systems, Digital Transformation & Data

Implement financial systems or ERP for scalable regional growth. Build investor-grade reporting systems with real-time financial insights. Integrate finance with POS, HR, procurement, and inventory systems.

Leadership & Cross-Border Management

Lead finance teams in SG & MY; develop strong skillsets and succession plans. Collaborate with Operations, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Business Development. Represent the Group in investor, bank, board, and regulatory meetings.

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA, CFA, ACCA/CPA highly preferred. 12-15+ years senior finance leadership experience. Proven track record in fundraising and investor relations (mandatory). Strong experience in multi-outlet retail, F&B, hospitality, wellness or lifestyle sector. Ability to lead regional finance strategy across Singapore & Malaysia. Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic planning skills.
