Job Description

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER



The incumbent is required to manage the company's all aspects of financial management, including risk management, corporate accounting, regulatory, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Job Scope & Responsibilities:



Accountable for the overall Finance, Accounts which includes providing advice and service on financial matters, tax implications of business activities, procurement strategies and to ensure the Group's practice is managed in accordance to Government legislation and regulations, industrial standards and group procedures and authorities (GPA). To oversee and manage the organization finances of property group, education, plantation and other investment portfolios within group. General financial oversight, advise on Group's funding strategies and lead fund raising exercises, and ensure use of funds complies with Group's policies and procedures for effective monitoring and reporting to ensure adherence with financial legislation and standards. Responsible for the Company's corporate exercises including negotiating transaction terms, presentation to Directors and shareholders for approvals, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Bursa Malaysia's requirements Develop and execute Group's sustainable strategies, policies and practices, and develop Group's Sustainable Report in compliance with environmental and Bursa Malaysia's regulations Responsible for co-ordinating Group's Enterprise Risk Management approach, identifying, assessing and mitigating internal and external risks, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Co-ordinate all internal audit functions, drive and manage audit plan that assures effectiveness of internal controls and core operational management and processes Advises management on desirable financial operations and arrange for audits of company accounts. Overseeing the Education Division's operations both private & international school and financial performance, and monitoring student recruitment targets Responsible for determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other heads of departments within the company. Responsible in the preparation of financial statements and management reports for presentation to Managing Director and Board of Directors that summarizes the organization's financial position and profit forecasts. Providing financial information and concluding on implications in relation to profitability and treasury requirements. Overseeing the collection of customer accounts and resolving problems in relation to invoice payments Undertake Ad-hoc projects/assignments and to perform any other duties as and when requested by the Group Managing Director from time to time.

Key Requirements:



Candidate must possess at least a professional degree in finance/accountancy or full professional qualification; ACCA/MIA/CPA. At least 10 years working experience in property development, investment and education industry is an added advantage. Proven track record of strong leadership, people management, interpersonal and communication skills. Good contacts with bankers, financial institution, investors and advocates & solicitors. Strong in managing a team, organizational skills and ability to strategize accomplishments. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with exposure to broad business issues and demonstrate excellent knowledge of data analysis and budget forecasting. Hands-on approach and able to meet tight deadlines In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM35,000.00 - RM45,000.00 per month
