\xe2\x80\xa2 Role calls for Chief Officer for a leading Port Operations Company, where the incumbent assists the Master in all vessel command and has whatever authority the Master delagates upon him / her \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists the Master and learn all aspects of ships command with a view to eventual promotion \xe2\x80\xa2 Acts as the ship\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Officer. Ensure adherence to Safety and Copany Procedures in all efficient manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for ensuring that all mooring . anchor handling and towing equipment are regularly maintained and in operational order \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for loading , stowing and discharging of all deck cargoes and cleaning bulk tanks; in charge of the deck ratings and their duties \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for the training of deck cadets and deck crew \xe2\x80\xa2 Carries out watch keeping duties \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervises mooring and unmooring of vessel in port and at offshore locations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures that the accomadation is kept in a clean , tidy and hygienic state.
