• Name of role is CRE and functions as AECOM representative at Site together with 2 project coordinators to facilitate PE endorsement of the as-built and certification of CCC for the build-only packages (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10).
• Functions as a lead for the site supervision team
• Role is based in Johor Bahru and working days are Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday (8am-5pm) and Saturday (8am-12pm) and to follow Johor State public holidays.
• Primary point of site contact for AECOM Design Team and Client,
• Coordinate with HQ C&S, Geotechnical and MEP team on critical RFIs for closure. If possible, work out possible solutions based on site conditions/ construction phase.
• Representing AECOM to attend / lead / chair meetings related to technical and coordination among stakeholder at Site.
• To close-off all design related RFI\xe2\x80\x99s on Teambinder as final approver. Training to use Teambinder will be provided.
• To establish the communication protocol, practices and requirements with the SC team to ensure that the supervision meets the requirements of the AECOM\xe2\x80\x99s PE for endorsement of the drawings and certification for CCC for the build-only packages.
• To carry out random check on SC activities and documentations (reports, NCR, etc) to ensure SC is accountable and liable for the supervision works and carry out the supervision works to the satisfaction of AECOM\xe2\x80\x99s PE for the build-only packages.
• Providing direction to the SC team only on works which provides the PE to certify the satisfactory completion of the works packages. Any other works beyond the obligation of AECOM PE shall not be covered by the CRE.
• Review adequacy of the SC Team resources with the appropriate qualifications and experience for the project. The level of resources assessed by the CRE will only be related to supervisory activities of the construction works and excludes other obligation of the SC team which falls beyond AECOM\xe2\x80\x99s PE obligation.
• Overseeing the performance of SC. Advice and direct corrective action for SC.
• Provide assistance in technical and management guidance and direction in relation to the supervisory works for the build-only packages.
• Evaluate and highlight to Client on non-performance of the SC team in carrying out the activities within the supervisory coverage of AECOM for the build-only packages.
• Ensure overall compliance to the Supervision Plan.

Qualifications

• Minimally 20 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in civil and structure engineering, mainly in building works similar to elevated MRTS stations, Train Depot buildings and complicated steel roof fa\xc3\xa7ade construction
• Added advantage if you have experience with architecture and MEP.
• A recognized Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia
• A strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and trustworthiness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
