The Chief Steward is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen and food service areas, as well as managing stewarding staff, equipment, and inventory. The role ensures hygiene standards, supports kitchen operations, and enforces hotel policies regarding sanitation and safety in compliance with local health regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of stewarding experience in a hotel or large-scale F&B environment, including supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills (MS Office); knowledge of inventory systems is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items, work in hot/humid environments.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
