About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Chinese Writer to create engaging, accurate, and culturally relevant written content in Chinese. The role involves producing high-quality articles, blog posts, marketing copy, website content, translations, or other written materials tailored to our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Write, edit, and proofread content in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional, depending on project needs). Create engaging, original, and SEO-friendly content for blogs, websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. Adapt English content into Chinese while ensuring cultural accuracy and readability. Conduct research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and credibility. Collaborate with the editorial/marketing team to meet project objectives. Deliver assignments on time while adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Requirements

Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, journalist, or translator (portfolio required). Excellent command of written Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) with strong grammar, spelling, and style. Ability to translate and localize content from English to Chinese effectively. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with SEO best practices is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

Degree/diploma in Journalism, Communications, Literature, or related fields. Experience in marketing, digital content creation, or localization. Knowledge of specific industries (e.g., tech, finance, lifestyle, gaming, e-commerce).
Work Arrangement

Remote freelance role. Flexible schedule (based on project deadlines). Compensation: Based on project scope or per-word rate.
