Main Roles and ResponsibilitiesCafe Operations & Management
Oversee daily operations of the Chocolate Gallery Cafe, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and customer-friendly experience.
Manage cafe staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance.
Maintain cafe cleanliness, organization, and hygiene according to food safety standards.
Handle inventory control of ingredients, packaging, and beverage supplies.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all cafe menu items.
Prepare daily sales reports and stock usage reports.
Food & Beverage Preparation
Prepare
simple pastries, cakes, cookies, and chocolate desserts
.
Create and serve
coffee, chocolate drinks, and cafe beverages
.
Produce
chocolate-related products
(e.g., hot chocolate)
Assist in creating new menu items or seasonal specials based on chocolate themes.
Ensure all food prep areas follow
Halal, hygiene, and safety
guidelines.
Customer Experience
Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Introduce and explain cafe items, chocolate products, and recommendations.
Support chocolate gallery activities or demonstrations as needed.
Handle customer complaints or feedback courteously.
Administration & Reporting
Monitor ingredient usage, wastage, and reorder levels.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly cafe performance reports.
Work closely with Gallery Manager and Operations Manager on promotions, events, and new products.

Requirements
Experience in
cafe operations, bakery, pastry, or barista work
is required.
Able to prepare basic pastries, simple cakes, and baked items.
Knowledge of coffee machines and beverage preparation.
Good communication skills in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to stand for extended hours and handle fast-paced operations.
Preferably has experience managing small teams.
