Job Description

A leading international financial services group with a strong transformation agenda is looking to appoint a CHRO based in their Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office. Reporting into the Group CHRO based in Singapore, as well as the CEO locally, this individual will be part of the ExCo and will operate in a strategic and hands-on position, as a trusted adviser to the leadership team, as well as being key in driving the growth, business transformation and people agenda, leading a HR function based in Malaysia of circa 25 people with a handful of direct reports.

This individual will have a track record operating in a large global financial services or insurance corporation based in Malaysia. You will be part of the leadership team and comfortable leading and developing large HR functions. You will be used to operating in fast paced global matrix change and transformation environments, where you have scaled fast, with a focus on capability building and high performance. Due to the ability to converse directly with the Exco and HR team and business locally, Malay language is required. Financial Services and / or Insurance (life) / Fintech experience is preferred.
