Develop engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for infrastructure projects (roads, buildings, drainage, bridges, water supply, etc.).
Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and risk assessments.
Use design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
2. Project Management
Coordinate and manage construction activities from start to finish.
Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
3. Site Supervision
Monitor site progress to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and regulations.
Inspect materials and workmanship to meet quality standards.
Resolve technical issues on-site and ensure proper documentation.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Duties
Ensure all works comply with local authorities' requirements (e.g., PBT, CIDB, JKR, IWK, TNB, etc.).
Prepare and submit technical reports, method statements, and approval documents.
5. Safety & Quality Assurance
Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and enforce SOPs.
Implement QA/QC processes for construction works.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
6. Technical Support & Coordination
Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Review shop drawings, structural details, and material specifications.
Attend coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of project progress, site instructions, measurements, and variations.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site reports.
