Client Background: Biofuel Industry Industry : Manufacturing Location: Johor Bahru & Pasir Gudang, Johor. Headcount: 1 Position Title : Civil & Structure Engineer Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: Depending on experienced. Responsibilities .Prepare and/or review engineering plans and designs for civil and structural works, related certificate & documentation and working drawings complying to client\'s requirement and standard design code developed by consultant .Ensure civil and structural works are carried out according to specifications/drawings .Review design calculation reports and drawings for authorities\' submissions prepared by consultant .Co-ordinate & liaise with lead consultant, company representative and all relevant authorities to resolve project issues .Coordinating, monitoring and ensuring the work progress is on schedule, cost & good quality .Attend technical meeting/site meetings .Conduct site visits/inspections and supervise technical aspects .To evaluate main contractor\'s claims .To verify progress claim for main contractor subject to contract & project progress .Other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirement .Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent .At least 8 years of work experience in construction. Experience in large-scale petro-chemical, chemical or oil palm refineries, oleochemical plant, bulk storage project would be an added advantage .Familiar with local authorities\' requirement for design plans submission and approval
