Processing/negotiating settlements with third-party solicitors, third-party claimants, and Adjusters
Attending files from registration until claims are paid
Assignment of adjusters when necessary
Reviewing Confirmation of cover to third-party solicitors
Appointment of solicitors when necessary
Ensuring attendance of solicitors\xe2\x80\x99 opinions immediately
Ensuring call out system/diary to update files and key in the system and Excel worksheet to confirm ownership and movements of files
Ensuring all compulsory data is keyed into the operating systems
Study/peruse emails and attach them to files and in the system
Approve claims within authority limits of RM60,000 and this will be reviewed from time to time.
Prudent negotiation of PD claims
Keep track of PD potential claims
Assist management of the PD unit as and when required
Review PD files and reserves as and when necessary
Follow-up process- Sending reminders to service providers, panel solicitors, and adjusters when necessary.
Ensure all court files are attended as per the dates stated especially the writ of Summons mention dates and hearing dates.
Ensure all policy breaches are recognized and brought to the management\xe2\x80\x99s attention in a timely manner.
Ensure all recoveries are recognized, updated in the system, and brought to the manager\xe2\x80\x99s attention
Ensuring all red flags are recognized and reported to SIU within the month.
Ensure compliance with AIG internal SOPs and global and regulator directives and the laws & rules governing PD claims.
Attending KFK recovery and reimbursement, after settlement of PD claim
Liaise with the accounting department on KFK \xe2\x80\x93 receipting /other related issues
Refer the claim to subrogation and fraud teams by identifying potential subrogation and fraud
