Job Summary



The Claim Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the overall insurance claim process, including communication with customers, insurance companies, and adjusters. This role ensures all required documents are collected, submitted, and processed efficiently to achieve smooth claim approval and workflow.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Communication



Contact customers to obtain required documents for insurance claims. Provide guidance and explanation on claim procedures to customers. Update customers on claim progress and follow-up requirements.

2. Insurance Company Liaison



Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, pending documents, approvals, and additional requirements. Submit documents and ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions.

3. Coordination With Adjusters



Arrange and coordinate adjuster appointments with customers or the workshop. Assist adjusters during vehicle inspection and provide required information. Follow up with adjusters on assessments and reports.

4. Documentation & Administration



Ensure all claim documents (police report, photos, forms, invoices) are complete and filed. Maintain and update claim records in the system. Prepare and send official letters or emails related to insurance claims.

5. Workflow Support



Coordinate with the workshop team regarding repair scheduling after claim approval. Ensure smooth communication between customers, insurers, and workshop departments. Highlight urgent or problematic cases to supervisors for quick resolution.

Requirements



Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business, Administration, or related field. Good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia & English). Able to handle calls professionally and follow up diligently. Basic knowledge of motor insurance claims is an advantage. Organized, responsible, and able to work independently.
