Job Description

Key Responsibilities - Site Supervision

Supervise all mechanical and electrical works at project sites including HVAC, fire protection, water supply, electrical distribution, plumbing, and lift systems. Ensure contractors' works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authorities' requirements. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and verification of M&E installations. Identify defects, non-compliance, and poor workmanship, and follow up on corrective actions. Coordinate site inspections with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities. Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of M&E works. Enforce safety and environmental compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Office Duties

Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements. Prepare and update daily site reports, progress summaries, and inspection records. Assist Project Engineer/Manager in verifying contractors' claims, variation orders, and work progress. Participate in coordination meetings and technical discussions. Maintain proper documentation, drawings, and quality assurance records. Support project handover documentation, testing & commissioning reports.

Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in building or development projects. Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and local construction standards. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Proficient in report writing, Microsoft Office, and documentation control. Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM3,127.88 per month
