We will count on you to: Operations
Analyze claims, identify trend or anomalies, estimate future plan costs and prepare commentaries for clients accordingly
Design effective and efficient reports and data analytics to support projects; i.e collect, analyze and interpret life, disability and healthcare data and summarize in report format, with insights and recommendations prepared for clients.
Leading role in preparing ad-hoc slides to address clients\xe2\x80\x99 specific needs.
Support development and maintenance of in-house tools and
Understand client\xe2\x80\x99s HR\xe2\x80\x99s needs, attend to the queries, communicate clearly on the methodology/calculation and prepare presentation material accordingly.
Communication
Initiate communication sessions(s) with clients and internal parties on potential issues.
Effectively communicate relevant client information to other team members.
Communicate and negotiate with clients and/or internal parties eg: turnaround time, depth of analysis, expectation, data required etc.
Product and Market Knowledge
Actively involved in the Flexible Benefits plan design to develop the best suited set of Flexible benefits based on clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
Participate in the implementation discussion with implementation team to understand the IT logics behind the scenes, as well as concerns.
Participate in industry forums and seminars as deemed appropriate.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Ability to determine when to ask for guidance and when to take the self-initiative to solve problems without significant day to day coaching.
Capable of solving ongoing client and vendor issues without supervision.
Client Management
Handle new and renewed clients independently with the work peer reviewed by senior team members.
Initiate project work for new and renewed accounts.
Participate in renewals focusing on annual reporting and additional analysis including commentaries and recommendations.
Financial Management
Works closely with Client Executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production.
What you need to have:
A degree holder in business, commerce, finance, actuarial studies, or math/statistics.
Preferably with min. 3 years relevant work experience either in insurance or consulting industry.
Experience in a group benefits or financial analytical role, superior analytical and mathematical skills.
Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Good competency in BenefitMap.
