Identify and secure new business opportunities, understand clients' needs, and offer tailored financial solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering positive relationships and ensuring business continuity.
Serve as a liaison to other Bank staff, such as Personal Financial Executives (PFE), Personal Bankers (PB), Sales Executives (SE), Branch Managers (BM), Retail Sales Managers (RSM), etc., facilitating access to employees, members, students, or other community groups associated with the respective business partner by organizing sales engagement activities.
Collaborate with Branch Managers, Retail Sales Managers, State Directors, and other sales personnel to ensure the successful execution of sales engagement activities.
Plan and manage daily sales activities to optimize appointment efficiency, resource utilization, and profit maximization.
Work closely with the Head Office/Strategic Business Relations and other departments/divisions in Bank Islam to implement strategic business alliances and ensure consistent synergy, enhancing the bank's profitability and business sustainability.
Explore and acquire new business for institutional/organizational salary accounts and new package employers.
Financial
Drive business collaboration by promoting all retail products, including Deposits, Assets, Wealth, and SME.
Monitor and track the sales performance of each business partner to ensure optimal penetration rates.
Secure sales engagement activities from business partners across all segments, including Government, Non-Government, New Package Employers, Professional Associations, Hajj & Umrah, Synergy, Co-Brands, and Non-Bumi.
Customers
Maintain relationships with Business Partners, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and collaborate with other sales teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Explore and identify business opportunities to increase penetration rates.
Provide personalized advice, build rapport, and deliver prompt responses to client inquiries.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure that BNM, external, internal audit findings, compliance reviews, and Shariah reviews are addressed and rectified promptly, preventing recurrence of the same issues.
Ensure that all sales engagement activities are accurately updated in the Business Opportunities & Sales Activities Report.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, TBE) would be advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the financial services industry.
Ability to travel as required by business needs.
Proven experience in driving business collaboration and managing sales performance, particularly in the areas of Deposits, Assets, Wealth, and SME products.
Experience working with business partners across multiple sectors, such as Government, Non-Government, Professional Associations, Hajj & Umrah, and Co-Brands.
A strong background in strategic business execution and managing cross-department collaboration.
