Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
Greet and check in patients as they arrive at the clinic.
Update, maintain, and organise patient records and information.
Schedule and coordinate daily patient appointments.
Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance billing.
Ensure accuracy, privacy, and security of all medical records.
Clinical Support Duties
Prepare examination rooms and sterilise medical equipment.
Measure and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, weight).
Assist with documenting patient information and medical notes.
Prepare patients for examinations and provide comfort, support, and clear explanations of procedures.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinic environment.
Follow established hygiene, infection-control, and safety protocols.
Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a clinic, healthcare facility, or customer service role is an asset.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with computers and appointment scheduling systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
