Job Title

: Stock Controller cum Clinic Assistant

Department

: Inventory / Procurement / Operations

Reports To

: Operations Manager / General Manager

Job Purpose



To oversee, manage, and ensure the accuracy of all stock and inventory-related activities, including purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring of supplies and medical products, in order to support smooth operations and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



Inventory Management

Monitor, track, and update stock levels using inventory management systems. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Stock Control & Storage



Supervise the proper storage of medical supplies and equipment according to safety and health regulations. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) where applicable. Ensure proper labeling and organization of stock.

Procurement & Replenishment



Liaise with suppliers and vendors to place orders for replenishment. Review and approve purchase requisitions based on usage trends and forecasts. Maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate best pricing.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchase orders, and deliveries. Prepare regular reports on inventory status, wastage, and usage trends. Assist in budget planning related to stock usage and control.

Team Management & Compliance



Lead and train store/inventory staff on proper handling procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Investigate and resolve any stock-related issues or complaints.

Requirements



Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. At least 2-3 years experience in stock or inventory management, preferably in healthcare/medical setting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software. Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Good communication and negotiation skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
