JOB DESCRIPTION - CLINIC ASSISTANT
Position: Clinic Assistant
Location: Poliklinik Dinar Sek 7 , Shah Alam
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
1. Front Desk / Registration
Greet and register patients politely.
Manage patient queue and appointments.
Answer phone calls and WhatsApp inquiries.
Assist in MySejahtera / panel system check-in (HealthMetrics, RedAlert, MedKad, etc.).
2. Billing & Administration
Handle payments (cash, QR, card).
Issue receipts, medical certificates (MC), and invoices.
Update daily sales and filing of documents.
Assist with panel company claims and submissions.
3. Clinical Assistance
Prepare consultation rooms.
Assist the doctor during procedures (wound care, dressing, nebulizer, ECG, suturing setup, etc.).
Measure vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, SPO2).
Perform basic procedures (urine dipstick, pregnancy test, glucometer, nebulizer).
4. Medication & Inventory
Dispense medication correctly with proper counseling.
Manage stock -- check expiry dates, restocking, ordering supplies.
Maintain cleanliness of dispensary and storage areas.
5. General Clinic Operations
Ensure clinic cleanliness and hygiene.
Assist with medical waste disposal (sharps, biohazard).
Support doctor and team in daily operations.
Other tasks assigned by the doctor/management.
Requirements
Minimum SPM (science background preferred).
Pleasant personality, polite, and responsible.
Able to communicate well in BM & basic English.
Able to work in shifts, weekends & public holidays.
Experience in clinic/pharmacy is an advantage (but training provided).
