Clinical Research Executive

Duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare, plan and execute clinical and scientific projects in line with international industrial practice and requirements.
  • Ensure basic understanding of project scope, milestones, budgets, and time codes and strive for high quality, timely, and efficient delivery.
  • Act as B. Braun\'s direct contact with assigned clinical sites, use judgment to assess and ensure overall integrity of study implementation and adherence to study protocol at clinical sites.
  • Participate in Investigator and other external or internal meetings as required.
  • Perform on-site visits in accordance with the monitoring plan; apply judgment and knowledge to independently resolve site issues, questions and concerns.
  • Evaluate overall compliance and performance of sites and site staff: provide recommendations regarding site-specific actions and use judgment and experience to assess the ability and motivation of site staff.
  • Apply working knowledge and judgment to identify and evaluate potential data quality issues. Determine and implement appropriate follow-up response.
  • Manage and process documents in accordance with company policy.
  • Attend audits/regulatory inspection if requested.
  • Maintain a positive, results oriented work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced, and objective manner.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with applicable ICH-GCP Guidelines, international and local regulations, B. Braun SOPs, other B. Braun training requirements, and study specific procedures and training.
  • As a member of the Asia Pacific team, support and review clinical and scientific projects in Asia Pacific countries.
Professional competencies
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Medical Science, Public Health, or Biostatistics. An advanced degree is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years\' experience in designing and/or conducting medical research
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Experience in project management
  • Work experience in the field of public health or biostatistics is ideal
  • Competency in medical and scientific writing is an advantage
